Jazz - The Turrets Of Music

A buddy of mine told me the other day that I should listen to this Cool Jazz.

I listened for a moment and told him to could he please change to something that made sense.

I can listen to music that has a beat, something that I can tap my foot to, maybe sing or hum along.

You can’t dance to Jazz, well that is not true. I think a Dorkey White Boy could take ahold of a Jazz Beat.

Close your eyes - I know you can see him dancing to it the Noise.

Jazz is like going over to a Piano Keyboard and start hammering on the keys. Hey Cool Jazz.

    Please!

  • Education in America

Education should Not Be a Right.

It should be an Opportunity that Everyone Gets and They Must Fight For To Keep It!

    IT IS THAT SIMPLE!

The power of intellect will allow you to rise above poverty, rise above war and strife.

You don’t have to be born handsome

You don’t have to born with muscles

You can achieve these things with the power of intellect.

    The shinning beacon of America!

If you want Equality and Respect in America, you must gain knowledge.

    Knowledge is Absolute Power.

To become an American, you will be making a change that will test severely your Moral Principles.

You will be cut adrift from all of your earlier associations.

You will be throwing yourself into a society where theĀ  conscience will be your soul observer.

You must prepare for hard labor and no patronage.

No man here can make another man.

Society here throws you to your own resources, but if you have some luck andĀ some wit, everyone will wish you well and no one will stand in your way.

    Such, is be an American!

  • What is Beauty?
By Ken McLean on June 17th, 2011 | No Comments Comments

    Beauty is about Impact.

Beauty is the Helen pf Troy, Launching a Thousand Ships into Battle.

Beauty is the Catalyst for making a creature want to mate.

Beauty can make people do irrational things.

    I Love it!

  • What does Race Have to do with Anything?
By Ken McLean on February 22nd, 2011 | No Comments Comments

I am sitting here thinking about this questions. I think everyone is going out of there minds. I do not need to know what a persons ethnic heritage is to know if I like him or her. Or for that matter whether or not I can do business with him or her. I have always gone under the impression that a person will always get the benefit of the doubt. That is just the way I am made. I can not dwell on how someone hurt me in the past.

  • The Bible and All of Good Literature
By Ken McLean on February 21st, 2011 | No Comments Comments

I think of the bible as a guide for the ignorant and sick of heart.

I believe that we all break sometimes and we need to be shown that we are not alone.

You see a whole man does not need this.

A whole man knows what is right and what is wrong.

You know when it doesn’t feel right.

If you read the Bible, there is more writings about the wrong way than there is about the right way.

The Bible is full of cautionary tales.

All of literature is that way!

They tell us to be careful.

Careful of taking the wrong path, making the wrong turn.

How many wrong paths are there?

    Their numbers are legion.

How many right paths are there.

    Only One.

  • Is Ken a Heretic?
By Ken McLean on February 21st, 2011 | No Comments Comments

    I don’t think so.

I am not a doubter, but I do think of myself as a questioner.

    A questioner wants the Truth.

A doubter wants to be told there is no such thing.

    Most Holier Than Thou People

Don’t have an original thought in their heads.

If it doesn’t have a lingering sent of Divinity.

    They are not interested.
